Wisdom : The science of connections the dots. The science of uncovering meaning

When it comes to having wisdom, you don’t look at different issues in an individual manner. It’s being able to connect the dots between random pieces of knowledge which to an untrained eye looks uncorrelated.

Wisdom helps you weave a web of meaning between several pieces of information.

The foundation of wisdom is knowledge. Relevant knowledge.

Knowledge is when you look at an issue in an isolated form.

Simply put, wisdom is looking at two unrelated things and saying what does this mean?

THE 3 STAGES OF WISDOM

PART 1. APPRICIATION FOR WISDOM

🎯 You must have a love and recognition of wisdom as something that is necessary for you. You must desire wisdom more than anything.

🎯 You must focus on wisdom. Contemplate and desire it. By this you train your mind to recognize it.

🎯 Appriciate continually and expose your self to others' expression of wisdom and gifts.

🎯 Sorround yourself with wisdom so you train your mind to be wise

🎯 Expose your Reticular Activation System to more wisdom.

🎯 Walk with the wise more. Iron sharpens iron. If you walk with the foolish, you’ll also get foolish.

🎯 Consistent mediation: This has to do with contemplating a topic consistently for a length of time.

🎯 The devil keeps you busy to prevent you from meditating and hence away from wisdom.

Sub Points of Interest

1. ☑️ Focus: what you behold and hold for extended periods of time, you become.

🔜 Read books and information from wise people
🔜 Focus on ideas for extended periods of time (meditate)
🔜 What you behold you become.
🔜 A weapon of the devil against focus is to steal time and prevent meditation

2. ☑️ Invest your time and money in procuring wisdom ( this is known as the treasure principle). Sacrifice of time and money will facilitate and fast track the wisdom you have.

3. ☑️ Affirm wisdom. Daily, tell yourself how wise you are.

Here’s a Secret manifest your affirmations by changing the way you hear you self. Block your two ears and say "Samuel Balogun, you are wise, your are smart, you are above and not under, good things happen to you daily".

PART 2. PRACTICE OF WISDOM

1️⃣ Sharpen the sword - since wisdom is the science of knowledge connections, you must first get knowledge.

The major difference is the type and relevancy of the knowledge.

There is a difference between the man who settled quarrels under the bridge and the consultant who has studied Peace and Conflict Resolution and is consulted and employed by the United Nations to bring peace to warring nations.

Poor people reward wisdom with their words, more likely ‘thank you’.

Wisdom can be used build an underwater train railroad or build you a gutter. It’s application is what is relevant.

‘Don’t use a crane to carry a pebble’.

You'll only be rewarded by the magnitude and relevance of the problems you're able to solve.

2️⃣ Conceal the most relevant bits of your strategy until it's time to deploy.

From the Bible story of David and Goliath, David hid the way he would kill Goliath from Saul and after killing Goliath, he cut off his head and took his head and sword as evidences. By this means no one could claim he wasn’t the killer of the giant. He got recognition and reward.

Don't reveal your plans to everyone. Not even family or closest friends.

3️⃣ Understand the potential rewards of a battle before you go fighting it.

Don’t waste your time fighting a battle that has no reward. It shows you’re not busy.

4️⃣ Do not cast your pearls before swine, they will despise it and devour you.

Why?
There is a value mismatch. A pig only wants food, not pearls.

The pigs do not value pearls. They don't know the pearls are more valuable than food.

Take your pearls of wisdom to those who appriciate it.

Building Competence of Wisdom

How to build your competence at wisdom

  • At a level of competence, some people will want to keep you for themselves and let no one else know bout you.
  • You have to build an economy out of your wisdom.
  • The differences in the Bible stories between the poor wise man and the wise ruler was that one was a ruler and the other was comfortable with a mere existence.
  • A ruler isn’t just merely comfortable with public attention, he feels entitled to it.
  • The poor wise man probably had low self esteem and didn’t ‘blow his trumpet’.

PART 3 - The Economy of Wisdom

1. Excellence at wisdom.

Wisdom isn’t enough, you need to be excellent at wisdom. Some ways to achieve this include

☑️ Delegation- King Solomon was a master at delegation. It’s not cheap to delegate to excellent people .
It costs money to get the best. Don’t be cheap. Learn to invest in excellence.

Make your wisdom look attractive

☑️ Tools. - Don’t be cheap with your tools. Invest in costly tools. It’s what will bring the world to come and consult you. Invest in the things that can make you famous. Both money and time.

Internet tools are very important, invest in them.

Learn to delegate. Hire a team or pay for them to design something you need.

☑️ Quality. Don't show up to the market place as a beginner, else you'll get a beginners award. What you have is plenty, but might not be enough.

Invest in developing your quality and showing up as an expert.

There is a minimum requirement that the market has set to determine excellence, so as a beginner, you should meet up with this level of excellence.

Use quality in everything. When you teach or create products, let it be qualitative, i.e meet the market’s level of sacrifice/ quality.

☑️ Consistency. Wisdom requires consistency.
How consistent are you at showing up? Posts multiple times a day at your group or audience.
Show up with a level of consistency equal to what the market has determined already. Show up enough times to build a reputation for wisdom.

Consistency builds reputation for wisdom and within you a character of excellence.
☑️ Flair - A special or instinctive aptitude or ability of doing something well. Birthed from consistency, it’s the point were you unconsciously do something well.

It builds up in the form of consistency. It’s not grace. It’s hard work.

You’ve got to practice consistently. It will build your flair for that craft and it would appear to others that you do that thing with so much ease.

☑️ Shamelessness. It is scriptural to show yourself. Inshort it’s very important and inevitable that you should consistently show your self.

Shine your light and execute your wisdom before men. Blow your trumpet.

Let everyone know. Your life depends on it.

Tell everyone about everything you do

☑️ Diligence - You cannot afford to be lazy. You must work hard and be diligent at what you’re doing. You have to he organised.

No matter how you are feeling, you’d still show up. No matter what is happening, you still do your best to show up.

There is a place for smart work and a place for hardworking.

2. Monetizing WISDOM
☑️ Ascend your mountain.
The internet is your mountain or platform for visibility. And you have to climb the mountain to be visible to people and let them hear your message.

You’ve got to be visible. Don’t be afraid of the limelight. Build alliances and structures and use wisdom to defend yourself.

☑️ Build your Audience.
Invite everyone to be part of your group or audience. Build the audience daily.
☑️ Content
Give them relevant content. Something that keeps the audience you have built. And execute that content with excellence and consistency.

Delegate to others in the group to drop contents they are much better than you at and work up your group.

Get quality content

Be consistent with excellence and get the reputation in the marketplace. Be notorious for excellence and build the character

Consistently showing up to your audience with quality content will give you a flair

You should be shamelessly sharing your content with all deligence. Day and night. Be deligent in your presentation.

☑️ Package your work in a manner that the market will recognize, demand and consume. Following the story in Proverbs 12:27, we discover the following points.

  • The lazy man does not roast the meat he got while hunting. He was diligent enough to go hunt, but his diligence stopped there.

Create products. Products that people demand and want to pay for. Don’t just give people plenty knowledge, turn your knowledge to products. Turn your raw meat to Suya. Add spice and roast it and turn it to Suya. Make a product out of your wisdom.
  • The hunter did not package his catch for sale. You should Package your knowledge in a manner the market can recognize and reward you for it. People pay a lot more for refined products than raw materials. Package, present, and put a price to it.
